Mainly to express my gratitude to the trip sponsor, Mr John Chew. He is officially my best buddy now! Just kidding you are already my best buddy since like 2 or was it 3 years ago (ya I know, the day Lehman Brothers went bankrupt was the day we met)
On the other hand, for the many times that he been in Singapore well taken care by me (ahem!). I guess I deserved it =D (John is so gonna kill me after he read this!)
Actually I was in a bad luck trend before I leave Singapore so I figured maybe there will be a change of luck when I'm in KL. But boy how wrong I was.
First was the getting lost in the KL airport! (Ya laugh all you want) It was my first time going to KL by plane so I had never been or seen their airport before, therefore didn't know that in order to get to the arrival hall you need to take a tram =.= (what a lousy built up).
What's worse is that most of the staff there can't answer my question either. Only can tell me to go check with the customer service counter (I'll do that if only I can find that bloody counter).
WTF! Isn't airport staffs supposed to know simple knowledge like where's the arrival hall?! I used to work at Changi Airport's DFS and trust me, we went for training to get to know around the airport. We have to know where's the post office, hospital, food court... blah blah even the numbers of fire control, airport police, facility management... blah blah and I was just supposed to sell liquor and hit sale target. Gosh! That shows the difference.
Nvm about that, I finally (after been lost for 30mins) found the customer service and was directed to board the tram to the arrival hall.
45mins had passed since I landed!! As I thought that my nightmare was over, I'm confronted by the worst nightmare ever..
The foreign passport clearance queue was so DAMN FREAKING LONG! No Joke! There was like approx 1,000 people queuing up in a single line! Fuck, I guess John might think that my airplane crashed or I overslept and missed the plane by that time.
So I waited & I waited & I waited......

Suddenly this four huge negros (think they are Nigerians) trying to be funny and attempt to cut queue 'naturally' as if no one realize what they are up to.
They overtook the pity little girl behind me and moving in to take my spot... *TSK TSK TSK TSK* *shake head* No one ever cut my queue, NO ONE! As soon as he take 1 step forward and throw his harvest sack down on the ground and he continue talking to his friends like nothing had happened!! Battle's On!
Eva: Hey, you think everyone are so nice that you can cut queue all the way to the front, ya?
Nigerian: *Stunned*
Eva: Well, your cutting end here, so why don't you pick up your things and move back the line including the pity girl behind me!
Nigerian: *Look embarrassed* *Surrounding people all staring* *Picks up his harvest sack and move back to where he came from
I'm not called 'xiao la jiao' for no reason de hor!
After the dramatic scene, back to queuing and waiting...

After like 2 hours, finally it's my turn. Once chopped and cleared, rushed to get my luggage which are already lying on the floor. Literally ran out of the gate (surprise they never stop me for inspecting) and met John.
Poor boy waited like 3 hours. Flight arrived at 2pm but I end up ready to leave the airport only at 5pm, there go my plan for shopping.. So we decided to grab (late) lunch at the Burger King before checking into my favorite hotel, The Ritz Carlton.
Overall I like the hotel very much except for the toilet part and Singapore's has better view too. But I like their breakfast concept, they have no buffet style breakfast. They have a main courses list (international) you can choose from and they do have a small buffet bar with salad, cereals, breads and fruits. Not to mention their food is awesome!!
After snapping photo of my gorgeous room, we head out for dinner at this Japanese restaurant, I have no photo to show as I forgot to bring the camera out. I forgot the restaurant name too =.=" We had the omakase means the chef will plan our meal, it was actually very good.
After that we went to a little bar near our hotel, grab a drink (more for John) then that's end of Day 1..
I will post the 2nd part of the trip where I went to Genting soon...
